Inhalt:

Der Workshop lädt dazu ein, Kommunikation im Arbeitskontext bewusster, inklusiver und machtkritischer zu gestalten. Im Fokus stehen Sprache und visuelle Kommunikation als zentrale Hebel für Zugehörigkeit, Ausschluss oder Empowerment. Die Teilnehmenden reflektieren eigene Sprachmuster, Bilder und Narrative und lernen, wie diese auf unterschiedliche Menschen wirken können. Intersektionale Perspektiven helfen dabei, Mehrfachdiskriminierungen mitzudenken, ohne zu vereinfachen oder zu moralisieren. Der Workshop verbindet Haltung, Praxisbeispiele und konkrete Impulse für den Arbeitsalltag. Ziel ist es, Sicherheit im Umgang mit Vielfalt zu stärken und bewusste Entscheidungen in Kommunikation und Darstellung zu ermöglichen.

Am Ende der Veranstaltung werden die Teilnehmenden:

verstehen, wie Sprache und Bilder Macht, Zugehörigkeit und Ausschluss erzeugen können.
geschärftes Bewusstsein für intersektionale Perspektiven in der internen und externen Kommunikation entwickelt haben
konkrete Impulse mitgenommen haben, um ihre eigene Kommunikation inklusiver und reflektierter zu gestalten.

Über das Format:
Die Teilnehmer*innen erhalten in unseren Insights einen fundierten Überblick über das Thema und werden für die Herausforderungen mit Hilfe von Praxisbeispielen sensibilisiert. Alle unsere Insights sind interaktiv - kleine Übungen oder ein kurzer Austausch mit anderen Teilnehmenden sind häufig Bestandteil. In einer Q&A Session werden die vorgestellten Inhalte reflektiert und Fragen beantwortet.

Uchenna Jonas ist Diversity Marketing Coach mit Fokus auf authentische Sichtbarkeit, inklusive Kommunikation und intersektionale Perspektiven im Arbeitskontext. Er arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von Diversity, Personal Branding und Organisationskultur. Seine Arbeit ist geprägt von eigener Positionierung als schwarzer, schwuler Mann sowie von mehreren Jahren Erfahrung im Social Media Marketing und Coaching. Content:

This workshop invites participants to make communication in the workplace more conscious, inclusive, and critical of power dynamics. The focus is on language and visual communication as key levers for fostering a sense of belonging, exclusion, or empowerment. Participants will reflect on their own language patterns, images, and narratives and learn how these can affect different people. Intersectional perspectives help us consider multiple forms of discrimination without oversimplifying or moralizing. The workshop combines theoretical frameworks, practical examples, and concrete ideas for everyday work. The goal is to build confidence in dealing with diversity and to enable conscious decisions in communication and representation.

By the end of the event, participants will:

understand how language and images can create power, belonging, and exclusion.
have developed a heightened awareness of intersectional perspectives in internal and external communication.
have taken away concrete ideas for making their own communication more inclusive and reflective.

About the Format:

In our Insights sessions, participants gain a thorough overview of the topic and are made aware of the challenges through practical examples. All our Insights sessions are interactive—they often include short exercises or brief discussions with other participants. During a Q&A session, we reflect on the content presented and answer questions.

Uchenna Jonas is a diversity marketing coach specializing in authentic visibility, inclusive communication, and intersectional perspectives in the workplace. He works at the intersection of diversity, personal branding, and organizational culture. His work is shaped by his own identity as a Black, gay man, as well as by several years of experience in social media marketing and coaching. Uchenna combines a strong sense of purpose with practicality and creates spaces for honest reflection, empowerment, and learning without shame. He works with individuals, teams, and organizations.
