In this interactive training participants are sensitized to various diversity topics.
The training is a good introduction for anyone who has had little or no contact with the topic of diversity or anti-discrimination. Theoretical concepts are alternated with practical interactive exercises; this encourages participants to find their own approach to terms and concepts, to reflect on or develop their own attitude to diversity and to take away some theory.
Participants are encouraged to self-reflect and apply the concepts in practice. Practical exercises bring diversity issues closer to the reality of their own lives and provide inspiration for everyday professional life.
At the end of the event, participants will have:
- learned diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and other important definitions
- dived deeper in philosophy of diversity and attitude
- understood the origins of discrimination
- underpinned their knowledge with practical exercises
- gained some inspiration for their own self-reflection as well as recommendations for action in everyday working life
About the format:
In our trainings participants receive an intense and particularly practical learning experience. The trainers impart knowledge and guide processes of self-reflection around diversity, equity & inclusion. Complex questions are explored in depth and the knowledge gained is applied to the participants' own (corporate) context.
