Those in Germany with roots in, for example, Africa, Asia or Turkey, may experience racism in varying forms and intensity. There is, however, a common reason for their discrimination. While racist violence is increasing, everyday racism should not be underestimated in the lives of those affected.

The group coaching gives participants the opportunity to get to know each other as well as their different political and cultural backgrounds. We all come from different backgrounds and have different experiences. What we all have in common is the fact that we experience racism in Germany. We are going to talk about questions like: How can we achieve our personal goals despite discrimination? How can we continue to lead constructive lives? What can we do to reduce racism?

Please only register to this event if you consider yourself as Black, migrant or a Person of Color and if you are willing to take part during the whole six hours of the coaching.

The event format:
In our trainings participants receive an intense and particularly practical learning experience. The trainers impart knowledge and guide processes of self-reflection around diversity, equity & inclusion. Complex questions are explored in depth and the knowledge gained is applied to the participants' own (corporate) context.

About the Speakers:

Sofia Hamaz is a group facilitator with a special focus on Empowerment and Equality. Sofia’s practice is rooted in transnational and transgenerational experience. She brings many years of Antiracism and Empowerment work with organisations and individuals. Sofia is also a writer, editor and translator of academic, policy and creative works in German and English.

Clementine Ewokolo Burnley is a Trainer for Empowerment & Critical Whiteness, Group Process Facilitator & Coach.
